Four Thieves Vinegar was originally used by thieves to avoid detection and bad luck when stealing from an individual's home (it was probably "FOR Thieves"). More modern uses include uses in hexing/curses, removing negativity/banishing, anything requiring stealth or slyness and a number of other uses.
