The scarab beetle was held sacred by the ancient Egyptians as a symbol of transformation and rebirth. Our scarab beetle keepsake box is made of cold-cast resin, handpainted with golden Egyptian designs. The base of this piece measures 7 3/4" x 5 7/8" and stands 3 1/2" tall. Its interior is inscribed with Egyptian hieroglyphics and measures 4 3/4" x 3" with over 2" of interior height.
